![]() ![]() So in short this is at best a complete waste of your money, and at worst risks harming your computer's smooth functioning (as was the case for me, with an inferior audio driver being installed which no longer plugged and played with my monitor). Presumably they were being pushed because of the commercial deals that Driverfix had done with the 3rd parties. And on closer inspection, most of these were not needed for my computer's functionality. Most of the others could not be installed through the Driverfix interface, requiring manual installation which is beyond the safe capabilities of most users. Most of the Intel drivers offered were in fact downgrades of the more recent drivers that were already installed (as advised by the warning messages from Intel when Driverfix attempted to install them). ![]() When I checked with Driverfix there were apparently 25 drivers that needed updating. Microsoft will update the drivers that you need, and Intel offers a similar free and reliable service. ![]() Driverfix is essentially superfluous, and I would strongly advise anyone against signing up.
